Po’oino’s Tattoos are mainly marquesan inspired, however he doesn’t hesitate to create by drawing in other styles of the Pacific. His tattoos are original and unique while respecting the meaning and spirit of Polynesia.
In recent years, Po’oino is interested in ceramics through which he approaches the origins of Polynesian tattoo. The Lapita pottery is the oldest evidence of the presence of the Polynesian people and their art in the Pacific.
